The R&D centre is equipped with a full-scale electrical distribution facility that comes with its own dedicated transformer yard. The system is designed to simulate voltage dips and disturbances in a controlled environment. It enables the centre to test, verify and improve theoretical propositions and concepts in the fields of industrial automation and power quality solutions.

Power Electronics Design Laboratory

The laboratory employs its expertise in electronics circuit design, firmware programming and product prototyping and commercialization. Software engineering is a critical process where the seamless integration of the controller firmware and the connected hardware devices/components will determine the effectiveness and efficiency of the power quality equipment.
