The Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) handles a range of control functions which include regulating the distribution voltage by changing the on-load tap-changers (OLTC) found on power transformers. Regulation of voltage can be done either by the AVR automatically or manually from the panel itself.

The Annunciator panel (ANN) is a monitoring system which gives off warning alarm and signal whenever fault occurs in any part of the entire network. It monitors not only the status of circuit breakers, but also fault signals from transformers.
